About this piece

 

One of my earliest memories as a child involves the song of the black-capped chickadee. Despite being only about two years old at the time, the memory is strikingly vivid. Throught my life I still experience moments of clarity that I am able to hold onto in the same way; I often refer to these moments as my "camcorder", capturing a moment in time.
